Lunenberg is a 250 year old town, United Nations designated heritage site, and major tourist attraction. But Lunenberg is also a wonderful place to live, with 200 businesses and residents with diverse lifestyles. On these pages, you'll see a dream come true that we have created in one of Lunenberg's many B&Bs, and visit an unlikely place where musicians and bands record- a haunted opera house!

The Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast is historically known as Rose Cottage (circa 1867). Situated on a half acre of undulating lawn and gardens, Rose Garden was lovingly restored in 2000 to its original elegance by owners and hosts Nick and Diane Goeb. Whether you choose to stay in the Rose Room, the Pansy Room, or the Lilac Room, you'll enjoy bright, spacious surroundings with fine quilts, linens, and antique furnishings. There's no B&B like a Lunenberg B&B.

Start your day at the Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast with a soak in the Victorian clawfoot tub. The Goebs supply plush towels and handmade all-natural soaps. Wolfgang, the family's miniature Schnauzer, relaxes in the living room but loves to show off for guests. Breakfast is lavish with an assortment of fine cheese, fresh fruit, and home-baked muffins, followed by Eggs Benedict; homemade waffles served with a berry coulis and freshly whipped cream; crepes overflowing with fresh fruits; or bagels served with capers, cream cheese, and locally caught and smoked Atlantic Salmon. The Rose Garden is an old-fashioned B&B, in high style.
